Kim Nguyen

Kim is a third year medical student at University of Washington from the Idaho foundation site. She grew up in Idaho after immigrating there from Vietnam when she was one years old and completed her undergraduate degree at Boise State. Growing up, Kim was a fairly active child, spending a lot of time playing sports with friends outdoors and being a part of a dance club at Boise State. When she started medical school, she found that it was difficult to continue to be as active with the course load, but that it could also be hard to be active even when not studying. Kim is excited to work with Medicine in Motion to come up with strategies for health professional students to become more physically active and combat burnout through fun events and personal goal-setting.
