Justin Lyon

Justin is a second-year medical student at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated from the University of Idaho in 2021 with High Honors in Medical Sciences and over four years of research experience in neuromuscular biomechanics working under Dr. Craig McGowan and Dr. Joshua Bailey. After graduating, he spent two years in rural North Idaho, serving various roles in both specialty and primary care fields. Justin’s background in athletics has had a significant impact on both his mental and physical health, leading him to be an avid cyclist, runner, and weightlifter. During his time at the U, he hopes to advance his skills in medical leadership and education while promoting the numerous benefits that can be found when prioritizing one’s overall health.
