About the Event

Knock out the Olympiad HIIT challenge and Steps challenge in one fell swoop! Choose either challenge or complete both if you're feeling a little extra (NOTE: you are NOT expected to do both events, but are welcome to if you would like!) 

We'll start with the HIIT workout at the track at 10:15am (keep reading for more details), and then meet up with Duke Environmental Justice & Health Equity (EJHE) at the Upper Al Buehler Trail parking lot (Al Buehler Trail Parking, 3001 Cameron Blvd, Durham, NC 27705) for a collaborative litter cleanup and walk around the Al Buehler trail starting at 11AM. 

Medicine in Motion gear will be awarded to selected participants who showcase great sportsmanship including participation, overall energy, encouragement of others, and helping create a welcoming enviroment for all. :)

Timing/Parking:

  • Free parking is available at the Science Drive Garage (2 minute walk from the track) with the free after-hours parking pass
  • 10:15AM – Meet at the track
  • 10:30AM – HIIT Challenge
  • 11:00AM – Trail Clean-Up Walk with Duke EJHE (meet at Upper Al Buehler Trail parking lot) 
  • Noon – Event wrap up
