Join us at Stead Tread, a 5k run/walk organized by the Duke Internal Medicine residency program each year. The event will be held on Saturday, October 16th at 9am along the American Tobacco Trail, starting/finishing at Solite Park. All proceeds benefit the Lincoln Community Health Clinic, which provides excellent care to our local community, especially medically underserved and vulnerable patients. There were over 200 participants last year -- a mix of housestaff, faculty, students, and partners/families -- and we'd love to get that number above 300! It should be a fun event!
Masks or face cloth coverings will be required outdoors when gathering with a large group (there is also a virtual option!). There will be prizes donated by local businesses/restaurants, and all race participants will earn 5 free classes at Orangetheory Fitness. Save $5 on registration by registering before October 1st!
