George is a second-year medical student at Morsani College of Medicine. He grew up in Doral, Florida and attended college at Florida State University where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Biochemistry. He enjoys the combination of physical activity and teamwork offered by team sports.

Julie (You Jeong) Park

Julie is an M2 at Morsani College of Medicine. She grew up in Long Island, NY before attending college at Harvard University where she studied human evolutionary biology and art. Julie has always loved being active and her current favorite exercises include resistance training, pilates, rollerblading, and hiking. She is passionate about promoting physical and mental wellness and is excited to build a diverse, supportive community of friends and peers outside of the classroom through MiM.

Lauren Linkowski

Lauren is a second-year medical student from Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Georgia with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. Lauren has always prioritized staying active and played volleyball, field hockey, and lacrosse in high school. In college, she found new ways to stay connected with peers through exercise with cycling, running, and yoga. She is passionate about inspiring peers to integrate nutrition and exercise into their daily lives as medical students.

Matthew Fahey

Matt is a second-year medical student at Morsani College of Medicine. A lifelong Florida Gator fan, he grew up in Orlando and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Physiology. He has a passion for sports, exercise, and philanthropy through his community. On a free weekend, you’ll catch him hiking, camping, or cheering on his favorite sports teams with his friends.

Premsai Kumar

Prem is a second-year medical student at the Morsani College of Medicine. He grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated in 2019 with a degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. He is passionate about resistance training and team sports. He credits exercise with keeping him sane during medical school and looks forward to the opportunity to help his peers form healthy and lifelong habits through Medicine in Motion.

Shannon Hall

Shannon is a second-year medical student at Morsani College of Medicine. She grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before attending college at the University of San Diego, where she graduated in 2017 with a degree in Neuroscience. Shannon has always enjoyed playing sports such as basketball and field hockey, which provided her with the opportunity to participate in team service projects within her community. She currently enjoys staying active by running, hiking, golfing, and rollerblading along the Tamp Bay River. She is excited to bring Medicine in Motion to MCOM and to work in a role that facilitates both community engagement and philanthropy in medical student wellness.

Stephanie McMillan

Stephanie is a second-year medical student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She has always been passionate about exercise and wellness. Stephanie grew up training in classical ballet, committing 30+ hours to dance a week. As a medical student, she still prioritizes time to take a ballet class once a week and also enjoys yoga, pilates, and meditation. She is excited to create a community dedicated to increasing the wellbeing of medical students
