Hi everyone! My name is Andrew, and I'm originally from California where I grew up loving the outdoors—some of my favorite things include going to the beach, hiking through nature, camping, and swimming whenever I get the chance. I try to take life slowly and intentionally, finding joy in the small, beautiful things around me! Being part of Medicine in Motion is a perfect fit for me, as it brings together my love for staying active, hanging out with friends, and building a sense of community. I'm super excited to help promote wellness and balance through this amazing club!

I love to try out new sports and am currently learning to lift with the help of the other MIM E-board members. I am so excited to promote physical wellness as a part of the med in motion team!

Howdy! My name is Greg Chang and I'm a first year medical student at TouroCOM. I went to Binghamton University and grew up in Rockland County, NY playing multiple sports including soccer, basketball, baseball, football, etc. Currently to stay active, I weight-lift and have become an avid pickleball player. I also love the outdoors, hiking, and nature in general. I am excited to share my passion of staying active with the Medicine in Motion community and more! I can't wait to serve on the MIM Eboard while serving in pickleball!

Hi everyone! My name is Katryna and I am an OMS-I at TouroCOM. I’m originally from northern CT and attended Bowdoin College in Maine, where I was a member of the softball team. In college I fell in love with lifting and have since found a passion for running, biking, and swimming post grad and even completed my first Ironman 70.3 in Western Mass! I also enjoy spending time outside with my friends playing basketball, pickleball, and other games. Staying active has always been a healthy outlet for me and I hope to continue to share this passion with my fellow classmates at TouroCOM!

Luke Oh (Secretary)

Hi everyone! My name is Luke, and I’m the Treasurer of TouroCOM's Medicine in Motion. I grew up in South Korea and moved to the U.S. during middle school, which is when I discovered my love for cross-country and downhill skiing. Sports and exercise have been a huge part of my life ever since I was young. I’ve participated in swimming, baseball, JV football, cross-country skiing and running, downhill skiing, track and field, badminton, pickleball and more. The only sport I’m not a fan of is basketball.
Since moving to the U.S., I’ve spent most of my life in Long Island, NY. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo before joining the TouroCOM Class of 2028. In high school, I was a sprinter and specialized in hurdles for short distances. After graduating, I’ve stayed active by going to the gym regularly to stay fit. I'm currently also involved in the CPE Committee, and I’m excited to learn how to play tennis and golf this year!

Yuri Takayama (VP)

Hi everyone! My name is Yuri Takayama, an OMS-I at TouroCOM. I grew up in a city of Tokyo where all the food is very delicious! Since childhood I have been playing instruments in a brass band until I moved to New York when I was 16. During undergrad, I also discovered a love for competitive ballroom and social dancing - something I’m excited to keep pursuing and hopefully join more events in the future. Beyond music and dance, I enjoy hiking, camping, going to gym - though I admit I partially push myself through these activities just so food tastes even better afterward, haha! Through the Medicine in Motion club, I hope to help create a community where we can all connect through exercise, supporting one another in both our physical and emotional well-being!
